August 29, 2007 by Kenney Jr. · 2 Comments
People are tired of being broke!
With all that money out there in the world, how do you “get some”? Here are 7 of the most popular ways to make money from home online:
1. Your own Information Product
Selling your own information products has got to be one of the best ideas because you have control over the price, product, and the quality. When you make sales for your own product, you collect more cash. There is also more versatility to the ways you can market your product…And the most important factor of all: the power of leverage having your own product gives you.
For instance, if you have your own product, you can also have other people sell your products for you as an affiliate. This immediately cuts your advertising cost, allows you to reach a larger audience quicker, and helps you make money on autopilot. Leverage is key in any great success in business.
* Tips to selling you own product: Have great sales copy, capture the contact information of site visitors, and follow up with interested prospects and customers.
2. License or Resell

The Pros and Cons of Telecommuting - As Seen Through The Eyes of a Seasoned Telecommuter
August 28, 2007 by Kenney Jr. · 3 Comments
By Alexis Dawes
Janelle Delacorte has been happily answering calls for the Home Shopping Network and various infomercials since November 2004.
Several nights out of the week she tucks the kids in to bed, turns around, takes 20 or so odd steps, and arrives at the office. In her pajama’s, no less.
Janelle is a telecommuter.
According to the 2004 ITAC American Interactive Consumer Survey, she’s one of 24.1 million people who is employed by a company, and works from home. And as you can imagine, she loves her job.
In a recent interview she confided with me about the pro’s and con’s of telecommuting.
Pro’s:
- Working at home - especially if you have children. Janelle has a 1 and 3 year old. Having the kids at home with her has saved their family tens of thousands of dollars in day care costs.”I was a latch key kid growing up, and that’s not something I wanted for my children,” she says. “By working at home I’ve been able to see them pass all of their major milestones, and I’m very grateful for that.”
- Being able to choose your own hours.
The company Janelle works for routes calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even better, she can work in 30 minute increments, not a straight 8 hour shift as you would in a traditional office. This enables her to work while the kids are asleep. And even if she wants to squeeze in a 1/2 hour during their nap time, she can do so. - Not having to commute.
Los Angeles - where Janelle lives - has the worst rush hour traffic in the United States, according to the American Automobile Association. Not to mention some of the highest gas prices.Janelle’s family has saved over $200 dollars a month by eliminating her daily commute to the office. - Not having to invest in office attire.
With two toddler age children, and a new car, Janelle’s family expenses expanded dramatically in the past 3 years. However with a cut in certain expenses, like office clothes, they’ve been able to allocate that money to their newest bills, without feeling overwhelmed.
Con’s:
- Voice strain.
If you’re not accustomed to talking continuously for long periods of time, you might find your throat hurting for the first week or so until your body adapts.”When I began answering calls for the infomercial people I had to read a relatively long script, depending on the product being sold. Those first few days were murder on my throat,” says Janelle. Her solution was to keep a warm cup of tea nearby, as well as a glass of room temperature water with lemon.”It’s very important to keep your throat hydrated with the right things, or you’ll lose your steam very early on,” she advises. - The pay can be volatile for those who are new to the game. Janelle get’s paid anywhere from $.17-$.27 per minute when she’s on the phone with a customer. So if you choose a slow period, you could literally make less than a dollar an hour.”When I first started with HSN I would have really busy times when I’d be on the phone for almost the entire hour. Then there would be times when the phone would ring 1 or 2 times,” she says.”Now before I book my hours I look at what’s going to be selling during that time frame. Some items just attract a lot more buyers. So I schedule my work time around those hot sellers, and my checks have been getting consistently better.”She advises workers in her field to keep a diary of what’s selling when they work, so they’ll know where the most calls come from.
- Not having a separate worklife away from home.
Janelle says she sometimes misses the adult companionship and change of pace that an outside office provides.”Yes, I sometimes long for a little watercooler banter,” she laughs. “But when I can roll out of bed, put on my headset and start work anytime of the day or night, I realize that I still have one of the best jobs in the world.”

Blogger Reveals the Money Cycle - The Secret To Making Real Money From Home
August 23, 2007 by Kenney Jr. · 6 Comments
There is a simple money cycle that must exists to make money from home in any business.
It doesn’t matter what you sell or what type of business you’re in. If this cycle doesn’t exist then I can bet you’re not bringing in money.
The Money Cycle?
Here’s the money cycle that must exist…
Quality product + traffic + conversion = money
Quality product + traffic + conversion + automation = financial & lifestyle freedom
I know this may seem novice or even that it’s a given, but look at your business. Are you making as much money as you would like?
Then look at the formula…
What part of it is holding you back from making as much money as you want?
That’s what I am talking about. It’s simplicity…That is what’s so powerful. When you look at that formula, all you have to do is start from left to right.
Ask Yourself:
Do I have a quality product? (or am I promoting one?). If yes, then move on the next step. If no, then fix this problem. But the product isn’t going to be perfect. It just has to have quality. Don’t over-think it. Just get ‘er done.
Do I have a solid amount of traffic? If yes, then go to the next step. If no, then work on getting your message in front of at least 50-100 quality prospects a day.
Do I convert the traffic I get into leads, sales, or clicks? If yes, then you’re at a level that most will never reach. But you can do better. Create another quality back-end product. Make your lead product better. Increase the amount of quality prospects you get in front of, or the percentage in which you convert them into leads.
If no, then work on your salespersonship. Work on your copywriting. Work on converting more browsers into buyers. Take a look at the way in which prospects come to know about you. How do they perceive you before they get to your message. For instance, if they found you through a referral, then the chances of them buying is higher because of the power of the “message before the message”.
Write this formula down or print it up. When ever you can’t decide what to work on, look at your home business, look at what is keeping you from making the money you want from home. Then work on that with extreme focus. Don’t give up. Don’t procrastinate. Don’t put it off. Don’t get sidetracked. There is nothing more important that you could be working on business-wise that will accelerate your growth any faster.
It’s really that simple. One step at a time.

Web 2.0 - Bowing to a False Messiah
August 22, 2007 by Kenney Jr. · 2 Comments
Click here to Discover the Information Millionaire’s Bootcamp…
By Barry Densa
Are you absolutely beside yourself – giddy with delight because Web 2.0 has finally arrived to help you sell more, sell faster, make you richer, smarter, sexier, and lower your triglyceride levels?
Whoops, I’m sorry… do you even know what Web 2.0 is?
Web 2.0, in a nut shell, is the latest evolution in the online experience. The World Wide Web is now… ready… here it is: a tad more interactive, technologically speaking.
I know, that’s a big whoop for some of you, but for others it’s equivalent to the coming of the messiah (for either the first or second time, depending on which operating system you’re laboring under).
Is Web 2.0 a Boon or a Bane for Consumers and Countries?
For most marketers, their company’s website has been a rather static billboard of sorts. But now, thanks to the technological capabilities afforded us under the sobriquet of Web 2.0, a website can provide visitors, prospects, customers and selected victims, with a certain degree of “give and take”.
You can talk to them, they can talk to you; you can learn more about them, they can learn more about you; they can “experience” you, you can “experience them” – in short, the level of communication through a computer screen has been enhanced.
Some though fear that Web 2.0 will enable online marketers to become even more intrusive and annoying… or liberating. China, Saudi Arabia and other fundamentalist and ideologically illogical regimes could be in for a big-time headache.
Nevertheless, Web 2.0 will eventually give way to Web 2.5, then Web 3.0 and 4.0 and so on, until ultimately, long after we’re all dust, a computer screen will become a real – not virtual – portal into whatever exists on either side of the screen.
Actually, there probably won’t be a screen anymore; it’ll be more like a turnstile. Yes, the veil will have been lifted. And the tag line, “Reach out and touch someone”, will then have reached its fullest potential.
Here’s the Problem… Nothing has Really Changed
Web 2.0 will not sell your product or service for you. Web 2.0 will not negate the importance of salesmanship in print, in video, in audio, or any permutation or combination not yet assembled.
All the “old” requirements and admonitions about how to sell, and sell well, are still in full force.
The Top 10 Steps to Sell Your product – Even When Using Web 2.0
1. You need to identify a qualified market – those who are ravenously hungry for your product or service. Throwing mud on the wall and praying it will stick, won’t work – never has, never will.
2. You need a hi-quality product or service that will satisfy your market’s hunger, or fix their pain. No snake-oil scams permitted.
3. You need to know how to grab your market’s attention in a stimulating and compelling way, so they know your product or service exists. Waiting for the phone to ring is not a marketing strategy.
4. You need to prove your product or service’s value, unequivocally detailing at length – why and how your product is worth the price asked. Nothing is obvious when it comes to selling.
5. You need to make an irresistible offer. Why must your target market buy your product or service – and buy it now. Not to buy and not to believe is everyone’s natural first choice.
6. You need to remove all risk – by offering a solid, confidence-building guarantee. “Trust me” is not a guarantee.
7. You need to anticipate all possible objections, and overcome them. And don’t think for a moment there won’t be any. There will always be objections and concerns – especially for a first-to-market product or service.
8. You need to ask for the order! Bashfulness and timidity has no place in sales. Ask, and only then shall you receive. Forget this, and you can forget the sale.
9. You need to clearly explain what your prospect must do, step by step, in order to buy, subscribe or inquire. Lead them to your order page.
10. Take nothing for granted.
Web 2.0 is a tool – another road to get you to market. It will not replace salesmanship. It can though make online marketing and sales more effective… if you know what it takes to wrap up a sale in the first place.

How to Make More Money With Information Products Than Ever Before By Using Three Powerful NO COST Tools
August 22, 2007 by Kenney Jr. · 2 Comments
By Jimmy D. Brown of “Small Reports Fortune”
It’s all under your control.
If you sell information products and want to make more
money with them, there’s good news:
It’s all under your control.
That’s right, you can make more money with your
information products simply by doing something that you
have the power to do.
It’s not dependent upon anyone else. It’s up to you.
Let me explain …
While there are a lot of different aspects of selling
information products, there are really only two ways to make
more money with them …
Sell More
Refund Less
Really, it’s pretty much that simple.
In order to make more money with information products you
need to either SELL MORE or REFUND LESS.
Or, better still, do BOTH.
Now, in the many years I’ve been selling information
products, I’ve found there are three powerful tools that will
help you do just that.
You can use these three tools to SELL MORE by using them
on your classified ads, solo mailings, sales letters,
autoresponder messages and virtually any sales tool.
You can also use these three tools to REFUND LESS by
applying them to the information products you create.
Care to find out what they are?
Read on …
*** Three Powerful Tools ***
What makes these tools so powerful is a combination of
important benefits
* They don’t cost a penny to use.
* They work over and over again.
* They are under your control.
In fact, you already have them.
These three powerful tools are WAYS TO USE WORDS.
Tool #1. Education. When it comes to information products,
nothing comes close to the power and profitability of
educating your readers.
I’m talking the distance between the planet Pluto and the
computer screen you’re now staring at.
Not even remotely close.
Content is king. Nobody else gets to wear the crown or sit
on the throne. Content rules the land of information
products.
So, first things first, you gotta give your readers information
that educates them. You gotta teach them something.
Do this in your promotion tools (ezine articles, reports, sales
letters, etc.) and you’ll have readers thinking “This person
knows something … I better take a closer look.”
You’ll SELL MORE.
Educate customers in your information products and show
them how to produce results in their own lives and you’ll
make them happy, satisfied customers.
You’ll REFUND LESS.
Tool #2. Entertainment. To be completely honest, it’s not
enough to solely provide content. Even if it’s good content,
that won’t always get the job done.
Think of it this way: your high school civics teacher
provided you with (too much) content in a single 55-minute
class, but would you really buy anything from him?
Maybe a hall pass or a set of earplugs, but that’s about it. :o)
Nobody likes to read BORING content. We turn off boring
television programs, we fall asleep reading boring books and
we keep our credit cards tucked firmly inside our pockets
when we read boring sales letters, ezine articles, solo
mailings or special reports.
Make it fun. Make it entertaining. And you can do that by
using …
* Illustrations
* Funny stories
* Analogies
* Outrageous statements
I once wrote an article entitled “I’ll Swallow A Live
Grasshopper If This Doesn’t Boost Your Website Traffic”.
Do you think anyone read it?
Ask yourself this: would YOU like to read it?
We love to have a good time, and there’s no reason why you
shouldn’t apply that reasoning to your writing.
Keep readers interested as they consume your promotion
materials by entertaining them.
You’ll SELL MORE.
Help customers enjoy reading page after page of your
product by entertaining them.
You’ll REFUND LESS.
When you add entertainment to education, you’ll make more
money with information products …
… faster than you can say “ “LIVE GRASSHOPPER.” :o)
Tool #3. Emotion. Whether it’s outrage over an injustice,
excitement over a success or piqued interest over a
possibility, our emotions drive us.
Few decisions are based on intelligent analysis, but rather on
emotional response. Few actions are based on accurate data,
but rather on impulsive feelings.
We are emotional people. And there is no stronger proof of
that than to watch what we do and to listen to what we say.
Your job is to get us emotional. Fill us with hope.
Empower us. Give us courage. Motivate us. Issue a
challenge. Inspire. Get us to do something.
That’s what we really want. More than education, more than
entertainment – we want someone to compel us to do
something to make our lives better.
And the power and profits go to the ones who can do that.
Fill readers with hope and expectation with your marketing
materials.
You’ll SELL MORE.
Give your customers confidence and enthusiasm as they read
chapter after chapter of your information product.
You’ll REFUND LESS.
*** Conclusion ***
If you want to make more money with information products,
then you CAN do it. You’re in charge. It’s under your
control.
Education.
Entertainment.
Emotion.
Three powerful tools that lead to incredible profits.
But, only if you use them.
Some will read this article and discard it like they have done
with countless others.
And some will get busy.
I think you’ll be one of the few who will make more money.
Prove me right.

Make Money Blogging - 3 Components of a Blog Empire for Profit
August 20, 2007 by Kenney Jr. · 2 Comments
Click Here To Discover How To Make Money Blogging…
A Blog Empire, like any other business, is made up of three major components: a supplier, buyers, and the products for sale.
But a blog in many cases differs from the average business because you are bringing together two sets of customers and delivering two sets of products. And you’re not even selling the main item you produce.
Sound confusing? It’s really not. Let’s take a look at the component parts and illustrate just how simple it is to make money blogging.
The first component is a supplier. That’s you. It is your words, your opinion, your research, and your art which can bring thousands or even millions of readers to your blog. You will be the attraction, the broker, and the Emperor of your Blog Empire. If it weren’t for you, the blog wouldn’t exist. Because of who you are, what you know, and what you do, it can thrive.
The second component is a buyer, a customer. While the vast majority of your customers will be your readers, other customers will include companies that pay you to feature their links and advertisements on your blog. “Traffic” (those millions of readers out there who care about what you say) is the lifeline of your site: you’ve got to find them and bring them in. Once they are there, your advertising customers will pay for access to your reading customers, and your reading customers will pay for your information and merchandise.
The final component is a product. Like all businesses, yours can’t exist without a product to sell. But what do you sell when you’re giving your opinion away for free on a blog?
The first product you sell is yourself: your opinions and your expertise. Without selling yourself to your readers, you will have no customers. They may not always pay you directly (though in many cases, they will) but if they don’t buy what you’re saying, they will not buy anything else.
The second product you sell is your space. You lease it to advertisers who will pay you to put information in front of your millions and millions of readers. Whether text links or banner ads, your advertisers will pay you for a small part of your readers’ attention.
The final product you sell is your merchandise. With a properly-branded name and a reputation for excellence, your readers will purchase coffee mugs, t-shirts, bumper stickers…anything you can imagine.
In your Blog Empire, your reader is a customer and a product, and the more customers you have, the more products you can sell and the more profit you can pocket. You can turn your labor of love into a digital cash cow by building a Blog Empire that brings customers and buyers together.
